Lens dose equivalent: 15,000 mrem annual limit
Shallow dose equivalent: 50,000 mrem annual limit to the skin of the whole body or to any extremity
Dose equivalent (DEEP) to a fetus: if rads worker declares pregnancy in writing, DEEP cannot >500 mrem over course of entire pregnancy or 50 mrem per month. If no formal declaration, then fetal dose limits do not apply.
Rule of thumb when reviewing dosimetry records: the extremity dose reported by the ring badge should be ~3x greater than the deep-dose equivalent reported by collar badge.
